Basics will always trend, but even if they didn't I'd still wear them- sorry, I can't concentrate on this subject.
This has been a bit of a bizarre week. It started with My Dad's Birthday, and as most of you who read this blog will know he's no longer with us. It's been 2 years and still hurts like hell when I think of him. I never got closure and part of me can't come to terms with it still. Main reason why I keep postponing the trip to Orlando, an inevitable trip very soon... I keep getting told to talk about this hard subject but I can't and I every time I intend on doing so my eyes well up. I still can't say much and will keep distracting myself until I can one day fully talk about it.
It's not like me to get personal but I felt I had to.
I can honestly admit I'm quite thankful for this week to end, yet still looking forward to celebrating my sister's birthday this Saturday. It's nice to have her near me again. Actually I'm more than thankful to have Hubby, the boys, all my family, the friends I grew up with and some lovely new friends. Very lucky to have a pretty awesome group of people around me, a group I wouldn't trade for anything else in the world.
