wishing my hair looked more like any of these pictures!!
My main reason for the lack of posts lately has been my hair. I am a person that takes her hair very seriously, It's sort of my pride. If my hair looks good I feel great, it's sort of being my personal motto, so having my hair looking the way it looks right now is not a very good thing. Yes, I know my hair does not make me, and yes I am a confident person, but I want my hair to look good, not this very bad brassy/yellow colour.
I was meant to have a balayage almost 2 months ago, so I went to get it done, to be told it would probably take 2 sessions- fair enough. 1 st session the hair didn't lift enough so two weeks later by the second session and after another 3 hours the hair was that nasty reddy, orange, yellow colour. I tried to hide my disappointment the best I could, at least the haircut looked great but the coulour was too loud and overshadowed the cut itself.
I asked many times, if she could do the colour which turned into a yes.
I also got asked if I had had done something similar before. My answer was a YES, back in Mexico, and those colours were a medium brown with ashy blonde highlights. I remembered it took my hairdresser like 5 hours but he got it done.
I've decided to leave my hair alone for a while, it needs it's rest, it's not miraculously dry but it could get to that point if I put something else on it, so for not I will let it breath.
I'm also waiting to get back to America in a few months where I can have it done with my old hairdresser who will use Olaplex to make sure my hair stays top shape!
A side note to say the hairdresser who did my hair was a lovely woman and I did also love may haircut, unfortunately I don't think the person that was helping her dying my hair knew what she was doing, or maybe not with my hair.I did complain and ended up paying only for the haircut.
