a little bit of my outfit :)
It's not often I post about events I attend but there are the rare times when I decide to go for it. This is one of those times. I was invited to attend the Launch of Newcastle's own Chateau Boutique in Castle Keep. I wish I had taken more pictures to show you the venue properly, as it was truly beautiful, but I was a bit busy taking everything in and chatting to my friend and some new friends, and not to mention I'm not great with my SLR settings...anyway, I promise next time I go to Castle keep to take more pics ;) I wanna thank Tara and Dan for inviting me to the launch and looking forward to do some shopping soon, got my eye on quite a few items! ;)
I now leave you with a few questions I put together for Tara to answer, enjoy!
Tell me why you decided to start Chateau Boutique.
I have always loved fashion from a very young age and always tried to be that little bit different so not to blend in with the crowd. After years of travelling around the country to shop I spotted a niche in the market for an exclusive boutique selling unique garments that are hard to find.
What sort of clothes and Designers would you be carrying at Chateau Boutique?
I will be carrying a wide variety of styles within the boutique from casual sports wear to the most high end glamorous dresses. I have spent a lot of time sourcing lots of different designers and fashion labels from around the globe to ensure that my stock its completely unique and exclusive to Chateau Boutique within the North East of England. There will be many items in store that you would struggle to purchase anywhere else in the UK this way we can make sure we stay true to being an 'Exclusive' Boutique
What is your favorite Item in the Boutique right now?
What made you want to open the boutique in Newcastle?
I was born here, I live in Newcastle and it is my hometown and I absolutely love my city. I have lived in London and different countries around the world and can't seem to settle anywhere else I just love my home I'm very proud of it. I feel like newcasle has been lacking in a store like mine for a lot of years now. There's a lot of other established boutiques in the city such as have to love, leaf and jules b which are beautiful boutiques with a great selection of stock, but their target market is completely different to mine. I have been in all three boutiques and the staff are so lovely and helpful, you will find stock in these stores that you wont find anywhere else in the city which is fantastic, I would definitely recommend people pay them a visit! It would be nice to see more small independent retails opening up in the future. I would be really happy to give advice and support anyone else hoping to set up in the future!
What are your top things to do or places to go in Newcastle?
To be honest I don't have time do much as I work 24/7 but as I don't have time to cook this means I eat out a lot! I love cafe 21 they do amazing oysters to start and my favorite main course is the steak which is always cooked to perfection! Cafe 21 also make a really nice Sunday Lunch which I would highly recommend. My favorite food is Japanese and I love Hana Hana restaurant, I'm a very loyal customer and have been eating there for years now, the quality of food never changes it is always to a very high standard, I would definitely recommend the string of pearls banquet. If your wanting a healthy option or something a little bit different I would highly recommend Albaik restaurant. They do amazing Lebanese traditional dishes and beautiful salads and meats, if you are unsure about what to order I would suggest you ask the helpful friendly staff.
Why would you recommend my readers to visit Chateau Boutique?
I would recommend you visit Chateau Boutique as you are guaranteed to find clothing, shoes and accessories that you will not find anywhere else. I only buy small quantities of each item to ensure the pieces are exclusive. Also we can do alterations on site and made to measure bespoke service.
